Sprachreise der 3a nach MALTA
When we arrived at the airport in Malta we were welcomed by a warm breeze - a pleasure after the cold spell in Austria. Winter boots, warm jackets, hats and scarfs were hidden in the suitcases, only T-shirts, shorts and skirts found their way out into the sunshine.
ESE- our language school in the center of St. Julians was the daily meeting point. In the mornings we were taught by two Maltese teachers. In the afternoons we went on field trips to Valetta, the Buskett gardens, the eco- tourism island Gozo and the old capital of Mdina.
Our trip was interesting, filled with culture, fun and medieval history. On Saturday we took our chance for a last swim in the sea, in Ramla Bay, Gozo.
On Sunday we flew back to Austria. On arriving here we were surprised by heavy snowfall – how romantic. Mr. Abraham, our bus driver drove us home safely on snow covered road.
We enjoyed Malta a lot and we love being back here in snowy Austria.
